A parent's instinct is often the earliest sign that a baby may need support...

Feeding struggles, reflux, colic, head-turning, or a baby who feels tense and unsettled can leave you overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. You may have heard “they’ll grow out of it” — but your instincts tell you there’s more happening. And you deserve support, clarity, and practical help.As an Infant Manual Therapist, my role is to help you understand what your baby’s body is communicating — and to support feeding, comfort and development through gentle, specialised manual therapy.

Baby's Hand

Common reasons parents come to me:

.• Reflux or frequent spitting up
• Painful or shallow latch
• Only feeding comfortably on one side
• Very strong or very weak sucking
• Colic, wind or long crying periods
• Head-turning preference or flat spot
• Tension, stiffness or unsettled behaviour
Infant Manual Therapy (Infant FDM & Orofacial Support)

Infant Manual Therapy is a gentle, clinically informed approach for newborns and infants. It focuses on how fascial and musculoskeletal tension, orofacial function and early movement patterns may influence feeding, comfort and development.
Infant FDM (Fascial Distortion Model) is a modern, specialised therapeutic branch within osteopathy, offering a structured way of understanding tension-related feeding and movement challenges in early infancy.
If you notice reflux-like discomfort, latch difficulties, one-sided feeding, strong or weak sucking, head-turning preference, general tension, delayed or skipped milestones, or unusual posture, an assessment can help you understand what may be contributing — and how to support your baby.
